Compassionate religious communities to be harnessed online

I’m a major fan of the use of social media where it facilitates the kind of conversations that (in my view) society needs to have. The very timely new website, Charter for Compassion aims to combat fundamentalism within all religions (It would also be interesting to see whether ‘secularly fundamentalist’ views could also be added to the mix. I’m an agnostic, by the way.) The idea of fundmentalism as a reaction to an unstable society is a very interesting one, and I’ll be watching this site to see how they develop that conversation and how use their partner networks to engage people online. I wonder if  UK communications agency Global Tolerance is involved in this in any way?
